If you're searching for the best Revolut alternatives, you probably want what Revolut does well, a euro account and crypto in one app, from a different provider. There are several real options in Europe, and they're built quite differently. Some are banks that added crypto through a partner, some are investment platforms with a card, and some are crypto platforms with a cash account. Below are five, Quppy included, with what each one is, what it offers for crypto and fiat, and its regulatory status as the official register or the company itself states it.

Information about Revolut and the other services is taken from their official websites and official registers as of October 2026 and may change; check their current terms before you decide.

Key takeaways

  • No single alternative copies Revolut. Each one is stronger in some areas and weaker in others.
  • The banks on this list (N26 and Trade Republic) offer deposit accounts and cards, with a narrower crypto offering. Crypto.com and Bitpanda offer far more crypto-assets and cards, but their euro deposits must come from a bank account in your own name.
  • Quppy combines EUR and GBP account functionality with a custodial crypto wallet. It is not a bank, cards are still coming soon, and incoming GBP isn't available yet.
  • Check the regulator yourself. ESMA's interim MiCA register lists authorised crypto-asset service providers across the EU.

Quppy

We built Quppy for people who want euros and crypto in one place without the shuffle between apps. Eligible users get EUR and GBP account functionality with an IBAN, SEPA Standard and SEPA Instant for euros, and Faster Payments and CHAPS for GBP where enabled. Quppy charges no transfer fee on currently supported EUR and GBP fiat transfers. The crypto side is a custodial wallet and exchange for BTC, ETH, TRX and USDC on Ethereum. USDT is available outside the EEA only.

In the EEA, crypto services are provided by Payhound Limited, a crypto-asset service provider authorised under MiCA by the Malta Financial Services Authority. Quppy itself is a technology provider, not a bank. What's missing today: cards (coming soon, with a waitlist), incoming GBP, card funding and USD. Bitpanda

Bitpanda is a Vienna-based investment platform. Its homepage lists 650+ cryptos and 10,000+ stocks, ETFs and metals, so it covers much more than crypto. Its help centre says it supports ten fiat currencies for deposits and withdrawals, including EUR and GBP. Euro bank deposits go to bank details shown in the app with a payment reference, and must come from an account in your own name. The Bitpanda Card is a Visa debit card for verified users living in a euro-area country, and it can spend from your EUR, crypto or metals balances.

ESMA's interim MiCA register lists three Bitpanda entities as authorised crypto-asset service providers: Bitpanda GmbH (FMA, Austria), Bitpanda Asset Management GmbH (BaFin, Germany) and BP23 CA Limited (MFSA, Malta). We compare it with Quppy in detail on our Quppy vs Bitpanda page.

Crypto.com

Crypto.com's EEA site lists 400+ cryptocurrencies, staking, a prepaid Visa card and a EUR cash account. The crypto services are provided by Foris DAX MT Limited, which ESMA's register lists as a crypto-asset service provider authorised by the MFSA. The cash account and card come from Foris MT Limited, which Crypto.com describes as authorised by the MFSA as an electronic money institution.

One practical point: Crypto.com's help centre says the EUR account only accepts transfers from bank accounts in your own name. Salary and payments from friends, family or customers aren't accepted. In practice, that makes it a way to fund your crypto activity rather than a salary account. We compare it with Quppy in detail on our Quppy vs Crypto.com page.

N26

N26 is a German mobile bank. Its website says it holds a full German banking licence from BaFin and that client funds are protected up to €100,000 by the German deposit guarantee scheme. Accounts come with a German IBAN starting with "DE" and a virtual Mastercard. N26 Crypto is offered in partnership with Bitpanda, which also handles custody. N26's crypto page says it's available to eligible customers in Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Ireland and Portugal, and lists its trading fees. ESMA's register shows N26 Bank SE notified BaFin under Article 60 of MiCA for reception and transmission of crypto orders.

If you want a regulated bank account first and some crypto on the side, and you live in one of those seven countries, N26 is a straightforward fit.

Trade Republic

Trade Republic describes itself as a full-service bank supervised by BaFin and the Deutsche Bundesbank, with customers in 18 European countries. It started as a broker and now offers a current account and a Visa debit card. In November 2025 it launched a crypto wallet: customers can send and receive around 50 cryptos to and from external wallets, stake some assets, and use crypto for card payments. In some countries it offers a local IBAN. For example, it launched a Belgian IBAN in September 2026. ESMA's register shows Trade Republic Bank GmbH notified BaFin under Article 60 of MiCA for crypto custody, order execution, order transmission and transfer services.

It suits people who want a bank account, investing and crypto under one roof and don't need GBP.

How to choose

Start with the thing you can't do without:

  • A bank with deposit protection: N26 or Trade Republic. Quppy is not a bank, and neither are the crypto platforms on this list.
  • A wide choice of crypto-assets: Crypto.com or Bitpanda.
  • Stocks and ETFs as well as crypto: Bitpanda or Trade Republic.
  • A card today: every option here except Quppy, whose cards are still coming soon.
  • EUR and GBP account functionality next to a crypto wallet, with no Quppy fee on supported transfers: Quppy, keeping in mind that incoming GBP isn't available yet.

Whichever you pick, look the crypto provider up on the official register before you send money. Our guide on how to check a MiCA-authorised crypto platform shows you how.
