Crypto wallet and transfers

How the custodial wallet works, which assets and networks are supported, how to receive and send crypto, and what to do when a transfer goes wrong.

How do I send crypto to an external wallet?

Eligible users can send supported crypto-assets from Quppy to compatible external wallet addresses. Select the asset and network available to your account, enter or scan the destination address, review the amount and transaction details, and complete the required confirmation steps. Blockchain transactions normally cannot be reversed.

Is the Quppy crypto wallet custodial?

Yes. Quppy Crypto uses a custodial wallet model. Supported digital assets are held and administered by the applicable crypto-service provider for the user’s country, while the user manages balances and initiates deposits, withdrawals and exchanges through the Quppy interface. In the EEA, the applicable provider and custodian is Payhound Limited.

What happens if I use the wrong blockchain network?

A crypto transfer sent through the wrong or unsupported blockchain network may not be credited and can result in permanent loss. Blockchain transactions normally cannot be cancelled or reversed. Stop sending additional funds, save the transaction details and contact Quppy Support and the other wallet or platform involved. Recovery is not guaranteed.

What is Quppy Crypto?

Quppy Crypto is the custodial wallet and exchange experience inside the Quppy financial super app. Eligible users can hold supported crypto-assets, receive crypto from compatible external wallets, send crypto to compatible external wallets, exchange supported crypto-assets and move between crypto, EUR and GBP. Assets, networks, providers and availability vary by country.

Why is my crypto transaction pending or under review?

A crypto transaction can remain pending because it is waiting for blockchain confirmations, the external platform has not completed processing, the applicable provider is processing it, or a security, compliance or Travel Rule review is required. “Pending” and “under review” are not the same as “failed.” Check the transaction status and evidence before contacting Support.
