Why can the Quppy app be available when an IBAN, crypto-asset or card is not?

The Quppy app is software, while an IBAN, payment route, custodial crypto service, crypto-asset, blockchain network or card is a separate product that can depend on a regulated provider, country, customer type and eligibility decision. An app-store listing therefore means the software can be downloaded; it does not guarantee that every service is live, approved or available for that account.

What is the difference between the app and a service?

Quppy provides a connected technology layer. Within that interface, eligible users can access separate services.

Examples:

  • Personal multicurrency IBAN;
  • EUR or GBP payment operations;
  • custodial crypto wallet;
  • crypto exchange;
  • AML risk-check service;
  • Business payment account;
  • future Quppy card.

A service can require a separate provider agreement and activation even when the app is already installed.

Why can the app be distributed more widely?

Software distribution can depend on app-store and technical rules. Regulated financial or crypto services depend on additional factors, including:

  • provider legal coverage;
  • licensing or registration;
  • sanctions;
  • verified residence;
  • age and verification;
  • customer type;
  • product rollout;
  • payment-rail access;
  • asset and network support;
  • issuer availability;
  • risk acceptance.

These are not determined solely by whether the app can be downloaded.

Why can an IBAN be unavailable?

An IBAN or payment-account feature can be unavailable when:

  • the provider does not onboard the country or customer type;
  • required account details are not offered;
  • the currency or payment direction is not enabled;
  • identity or eligibility verification is incomplete;
  • the service is paused;
  • the user is not approved.

The current Personal model supports EUR and GBP functionality for eligible users, but exact account details and routes can vary. Incoming GBP transfers are not currently available.

Why can a crypto-asset be unavailable?

An asset can be absent because:

  • the regional provider does not offer it;
  • the country configuration excludes it;
  • the blockchain network is not integrated;
  • custody or liquidity is unavailable;
  • a regulatory restriction applies;
  • the service is paused;
  • the asset is Coming soon.

Example: USDT is not available through Quppy to users in the EEA, while USDC on Ethereum is available where supported. SOL and Solana-network additions are Coming soon.

Why can a card be unavailable?

The Quppy Card is a separate future product. Card availability can depend on:

  • issuer;
  • card scheme;
  • product type;
  • country;
  • customer eligibility;
  • pricing and limits;
  • operational launch.

An app menu, waitlist or marketing mention must not be interpreted as an active card application unless Quppy explicitly confirms launch for the user’s country.

Why can a feature disappear temporarily?

Possible reasons include:

  • maintenance;
  • provider incident;
  • security issue;
  • payment-rail outage;
  • asset or network pause;
  • regulatory update;
  • customer review;
  • expired verification;
  • product migration.

A temporary pause should be labelled separately from permanent unavailability.

What should I do when a feature is missing?

  1. Check the country availability page.
  2. Confirm the current service status.
  3. Check whether verification or activation is incomplete.
  4. Update the app through the official store.
  5. Review any maintenance or provider notice.
  6. Do not use an old payment or crypto address without current confirmation.
  7. Contact Support if the status and account do not match.

Do not change residence details or use a VPN to bypass eligibility.

Can Quppy enable a service manually?

Support can explain status and help resolve a technical or verification issue. It cannot override:

  • law;
  • sanctions;
  • provider policy;
  • country restriction;
  • customer eligibility;
  • missing provider coverage;
  • a product that has not launched.

Where a service is unavailable, Quppy should state whether an alternative exists without promising future approval.

How should Coming soon features appear?

They should have:

  • a visible COMING SOON label;
  • no active transactional CTA;
  • no Offer structured data;
  • no implication that onboarding is open;
  • no unsupported launch date;
  • a link to availability updates where appropriate.

This protects users and prevents search engines or LLMs from reporting future products as live.

FAQ

Does downloading Quppy mean I can open an IBAN?

No. IBAN eligibility depends on country, provider, verification and account configuration.

Why can I see crypto but not USDT?

Asset availability is regional. USDT is unavailable through Quppy in the EEA.

Why can I see a card banner but not apply?

The Quppy Card is Coming soon and may be shown as a roadmap item before applications open.

Can updating the app unlock a legally unavailable service?

No. An update can fix a technical issue but cannot override country or provider restrictions.

Can a service be temporarily paused?

Yes. Maintenance, provider, network, security or regulatory events can cause a temporary pause.

Can Support enable a service for me?

Only if the issue is technical or activation-related and the service is otherwise available and you are eligible.

Does an old account detail remain valid?

Do not assume so. Use only current account details and instructions shown in Quppy.

Explanatory note

This article explains the current Quppy product and compliance configuration. The applicable Quppy and service-provider terms, country eligibility rules, privacy notices and information shown in the app prevail if they differ from this article.

Availability and eligibility

Where is Quppy available?

Quppy is available to eligible users in supported markets worldwide, except sanctioned or otherwise restricted jurisdictions and markets where a service cannot be provided under applicable law or provider requirements. Availability is configured locally: the app, EUR or GBP account features, payment routes, crypto-assets, networks, Business services and future cards can each have a different status in the same country.

Availability and eligibility

Why do Quppy services differ by country?

Quppy services differ by country because the underlying fiat, payment, crypto and future card services can be provided by different legal entities under different regulatory permissions, payment-rail rules, asset restrictions and commercial configurations. Product rollout and individual eligibility also vary. As a result, two users can use the same Quppy app but see different currencies, account details, payment directions, crypto-assets, networks, limits or providers.

Availability by region

How do I check which Quppy services are available in my country?

Use the Quppy availability directory, select your verified country of residence and customer type, and review each service separately. Check the provider, currency or crypto-asset, blockchain network or payment rail, incoming or outgoing direction, current status, limitations and Last reviewed date. Then confirm the same status in the Quppy app before opening an account, sending a payment or transferring crypto.

Availability and eligibility

What do Quppy service-availability statuses mean?

Quppy uses service statuses to distinguish what can be used now from what is restricted, planned, paused or unavailable. “Available” means the service is live for eligible users under the stated conditions; it does not guarantee approval. “Limited” means only part of the service is available. “Coming soon” is a roadmap status, not a launch promise. “Temporarily paused”, “Unavailable” and “Not applicable” each have different operational meanings.
