Document quality requirements

Documents should normally be current, complete, readable and consistent with the application. The provider may require a certified copy, notarisation, apostille or translation depending on the document and issuing jurisdiction.

Do not alter or redact information unless instructed. If a document cannot be provided, explain why and ask whether an alternative form of evidence is acceptable.

Why can more documents be requested later?

The review can identify gaps, inconsistencies or additional risks. Payment activity can also change after onboarding. Quppy or the provider may therefore request updated information to keep the company profile current.

FAQ

Is the document list the same for every company?

No. It depends on the company, jurisdiction, ownership, industry and requested services.

Do all beneficial owners need to be verified?

The provider can require verification of ultimate beneficial owners and other controlling persons according to the applicable rules.

Can a new company apply without financial statements?

It may apply, but other evidence such as a business plan, funding evidence, contracts and projected activity can be requested.

Why do merchants need acquiring statements?

They help explain the source, size, currency and pattern of expected settlement payouts.

Can documents be requested after approval?

Yes. Updated or additional information can be required when the company or transaction profile changes.

Can I submit screenshots?

Only when the onboarding instructions accept them. Formal records or downloadable statements may be required.

Do documents need translation or certification?

Possibly. The requirement depends on the document, language, jurisdiction and provider policy.

How does Quppy Business onboarding work?

Quppy Business onboarding is completed online and normally includes a company application, corporate documents, verification of directors and beneficial owners, evidence of business activity and a compliance review. Approved companies receive an individual offer describing the currencies, account details, payment rails, limits, pricing, permitted use, providers and terms available to them. The timeline depends on the company and completeness of the information.

Who can apply for Quppy Business?

Companies registered inside or outside the European Union may be considered for Quppy Business, subject to supported jurisdictions, business activities, ownership structures and provider requirements. Every application is assessed individually. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or access to any particular currency, rail, account identifier or crypto service.

Business accounts

Why is every Quppy Business application reviewed individually?

Every Quppy Business application is reviewed individually because the legal, ownership, jurisdictional and payment risks of each company are different. The review determines whether the company can be supported and, if approved, which currencies, rails, identifiers, limits, pricing and services can be included. Submission does not guarantee approval.

Can my business receive merchant settlement payouts through Quppy?

Eligible online and offline merchants may be able to use approved Quppy Business account details to receive settlement payouts from acquiring banks, payment service providers, payment facilitators, marketplaces or card-acquiring platforms. The flow requires Quppy/provider approval and acceptance of the account details by the merchant’s settlement provider. Account approval does not guarantee that every acquirer will accept the proposed details.
