Is Quppy a bank?
No. Quppy is a technology and software provider, not a bank or financial institution. Quppy does not use the term “bank account” to describe its own legal status, and it does not claim to hold a banking licence.
Quppy itself is not a bank, electronic money institution or Crypto-Asset Service Provider. Regulated payment and crypto services available through Quppy are performed by the applicable legal entities and providers identified for the user’s service and jurisdiction.
What this means for you
You use the Quppy interface to view and manage the services activated for your account. The underlying legal provider can differ by service:
- a payment-service provider may issue account details, hold or safeguard fiat funds, execute transfers or provide access to a payment rail;
- a crypto-service provider may provide custody, exchange and crypto-transfer services;
- Quppy provides the software, product interface and connected customer experience.
