Before you send crypto to Quppy

  • Confirm that Quppy Crypto is active for your account and country.
  • Check that the asset is currently supported.
  • Check the exact blockchain network shown in Quppy.
  • Confirm that the external platform can send the same asset on the same network.
  • Review whether a memo, tag or additional reference is displayed.
  • Do not rely on an address copied from an old transaction or screenshot.

Important:

Sending an unsupported asset or using a different network can result in permanent loss. Recovery may not be possible.

Can I receive USDT?

USDT is not available through Quppy to users under an EEA service configuration. Do not send USDT to an EEA-configured Quppy account or to an old Quppy address.

Outside the EEA, USDT can be available on Ethereum and TRON subject to country, provider and account configuration. Always check the current deposit screen.

Why is USDT unavailable in the EEA?

How long does a crypto deposit take?

A crypto deposit can remain pending until the required blockchain confirmations and any applicable security or compliance review are complete. Timing depends on the asset, network conditions, provider and transaction status.

Why is my deposit not showing?

  • The blockchain transaction has not yet been confirmed.
  • The sender used a different or unsupported network.
  • The asset is not supported for the account or region.
  • The address, memo or tag is incorrect or incomplete.
  • The transaction is undergoing security, Travel Rule or compliance review.
  • The external platform has not broadcast the transaction.
  • The provider or network is experiencing an incident or maintenance.

Check the transaction hash on a reputable explorer for the network, confirm the asset and destination details, and then contact Quppy Support if the status remains unclear.

What information should I give Support?

  • The registered Quppy email or account identifier.
  • Asset name and ticker.
  • Blockchain network.
  • Transaction hash.
  • Destination address used.
  • Amount and approximate time.
  • Name of the sending wallet or platform.
  • Screenshots that do not expose passwords, PINs, 2FA codes or sensitive recovery data.

Important:

Never send Support your password, PIN, 2FA code, private key or seed phrase. A legitimate support process should not require those secrets.

Can I use an old Quppy deposit address?

Only if the current Quppy app explicitly confirms that the asset, network and address are still supported for the account. Product availability and provider configuration can change.

An address visible in a past screenshot, email or transaction record is not proof that new deposits are accepted today.

How can I reduce the risk of an error?

  • Use the copy function instead of typing the address manually.
  • Compare the beginning and end of the address after pasting.
  • Verify the network name on both sides.
  • Check any memo or tag.
  • Consider a small test transfer where practical, while accounting for network costs and minimums.
  • Do not follow payment instructions from an unknown person or unsolicited message.

A test transfer can reduce operational risk but does not guarantee that a later transfer will be recoverable or accepted if conditions change.

Is the Quppy crypto wallet custodial?

Yes. Quppy Crypto uses a custodial wallet model. Supported digital assets are held and administered by the applicable crypto-service provider for the user’s country, while the user manages balances and initiates deposits, withdrawals and exchanges through the Quppy interface. In the EEA, the applicable provider and custodian is Payhound Limited.

Availability by region

Why is USDT unavailable through Quppy in the EEA?

USDT is not available through Quppy to users whose crypto services are provided under the European Economic Area regulatory framework. Quppy’s EEA crypto-service provider, Payhound Limited, excludes USDT from its EU/EEA service catalogue as part of its MiCA-compliant stablecoin policy. This is a Quppy service-availability restriction. It does not mean that simply owning USDT is generally illegal throughout the EEA.
