Availability by region

Which crypto-assets are available where, who provides the service in the EEA, and why availability differs between regions.

How do I check which Quppy services are available in my country?

Use the Quppy availability directory, select your verified country of residence and customer type, and review each service separately. Check the provider, currency or crypto-asset, blockchain network or payment rail, incoming or outgoing direction, current status, limitations and Last reviewed date. Then confirm the same status in the Quppy app before opening an account, sending a payment or transferring crypto.

Is USDC available through Quppy in the EEA?

Yes. USDC on the Ethereum network can be available through Quppy to eligible users in the EEA, subject to country, provider and account configuration. USDC on Solana is coming soon. USDC is a separate crypto-asset from USDT, has its own issuer and risks, and is not a bank deposit or a government-guaranteed balance.

Who provides Quppy crypto services in the EEA?

For eligible users under an EEA service configuration, applicable crypto custody, exchange and transfer services available through Quppy are provided by Payhound Limited. Payhound is a Malta-based Crypto-Asset Service Provider authorised under MiCA by the Malta Financial Services Authority. Quppy provides the technology and connected user experience and is not the holder of Payhound’s authorisation.

Why is USDT unavailable through Quppy in the EEA?

USDT is not available through Quppy to users whose crypto services are provided under the European Economic Area regulatory framework. Quppy’s EEA crypto-service provider, Payhound Limited, excludes USDT from its EU/EEA service catalogue as part of its MiCA-compliant stablecoin policy. This is a Quppy service-availability restriction. It does not mean that simply owning USDT is generally illegal throughout the EEA.
