Why is my crypto transaction pending or under review?

A crypto transaction can remain pending because it is waiting for blockchain confirmations, the external platform has not completed processing, the applicable provider is processing it, or a security, compliance or Travel Rule review is required. “Pending” and “under review” are not the same as “failed.” Check the transaction status and evidence before contacting Support.

Status names can differ in the current app. Use the actual description shown for the transaction.

What should I check first?

  1. Confirm the asset and network.
  2. Find the transaction hash if the transfer was broadcast on-chain.
  3. Open a reputable blockchain explorer for that network.
  4. Check whether the transaction exists and whether it is pending or confirmed.
  5. Check the sending or receiving platform’s status.
  6. Confirm the destination address and any memo or tag.
  7. Review Quppy for a request for additional information.
  8. Check the official service-status page for incidents or maintenance.

Do not send a duplicate transaction simply because the first one is slow.

Why can blockchain confirmation take time?

Processing can vary because of:

  • network congestion;
  • fee level selected by the sending platform;
  • block production and finality rules;
  • temporary network disruption;
  • the number of confirmations required by the receiving provider;
  • transaction replacement, reorganisation or other network behaviour.

Quppy does not publish one confirmation count or completion time for every asset and network. Requirements can change according to risk and provider policy.

Why can a transaction be under review?

A provider can review a transaction for reasons including:

  • account security;
  • unusual activity;
  • identity or eligibility verification;
  • sanctions or restricted-jurisdiction screening;
  • source of funds or source of wealth;
  • external wallet ownership or counterparty information;
  • Travel Rule information;
  • transaction-monitoring alerts;
  • legal or provider requirements.

A review does not automatically mean that the transaction is unlawful or rejected. It means additional assessment or information can be required.

What information may Support request?

Support may request:

  • transaction hash;
  • asset and network;
  • amount and time;
  • sending and destination addresses;
  • sending or receiving platform;
  • screenshot of the transaction status;
  • account identifier;
  • purpose of the transaction;
  • counterparty or external wallet information;
  • source-of-funds evidence where required.

Do not send passwords, PINs, live 2FA codes, private keys or seed phrases.

When should I contact Quppy Support?

Contact Support when:

  • the app shows an error or requests help;
  • a confirmed on-chain deposit is not credited after normal provider processing;
  • a withdrawal has no transaction hash and remains pending;
  • the status is inconsistent across Quppy and the external platform;
  • you used a wrong network, address or memo;
  • you received a compliance information request;
  • an official incident notice does not explain the problem.

Provide one complete request with the evidence. Duplicate tickets can make investigation harder.

How long will it take?

Quppy does not publish one universal processing or review time. Timing depends on the blockchain, asset, network conditions, provider, transaction type, external platform and any required security or compliance review.

Support should not promise a fixed resolution time unless an approved SLA applies to the specific case. If more information is required, the review can remain open until the request is answered.

Can a pending transaction still fail?

Yes. A pending operation can later complete, fail, be rejected, expire or be returned depending on the transaction type and provider process.

Do not assume that a displayed balance is final until the status is completed and the funds are available for use. Do not spend or promise funds that remain pending.

FAQ

Does pending mean my crypto is lost?

No. Pending means the operation is not complete. Check the blockchain, platform and provider status.

Why is there no transaction hash?

The withdrawal may not yet have been broadcast, or it may have failed before on-chain submission. Check the app and contact Support if it remains unresolved.

How many confirmations are required?

There is no universal count published for every asset and network. The applicable provider determines the requirement.

Why is a confirmed deposit not credited?

The provider may still be detecting, reconciling or reviewing the transfer, or the asset, network, address or memo may be incorrect.

Does under review mean rejected?

No. It means additional security, compliance or operational assessment can be required.

Should I resend the transaction?

No. Do not duplicate a transaction until the first status is resolved.

Can Support speed up blockchain confirmations?

No. Blockchain processing is controlled by the network and transaction conditions.

How long does a review take?

There is no universal time. It depends on the transaction and checks required.

What information should I never send?

Never send your password, PIN, live 2FA code, private key or seed phrase.
