What is the Quppy crypto-friendly multicurrency IBAN?

The Quppy multicurrency IBAN is a fiat account service for eligible users to manage EUR and GBP through one connected Quppy experience. It is described as crypto-friendly because separate crypto wallet and exchange services can be accessed through the wider Quppy app. The IBAN itself does not hold crypto and does not provide crypto exchange.

What does “multicurrency IBAN” mean?

A multicurrency IBAN experience allows eligible users to manage supported fiat currencies without treating each currency as an unrelated Quppy product. Quppy currently supports euro and British pound functionality. The account details, transfer directions and provider configuration shown to a user can depend on country, eligibility and the service assigned during onboarding.

Note:

The phrase “multicurrency IBAN” describes the connected Quppy fiat-account experience. It must not be used to imply that Quppy is a bank or that every user receives identical account details.

What makes the IBAN crypto-friendly?

The Quppy IBAN is used for fiat money. It is crypto-friendly because eligible users can access separate custodial crypto wallet and exchange services from the wider Quppy experience. This can make it easier to move between supported crypto-assets, EUR and GBP without managing several unrelated applications.

Important:

Crypto services are not provided by the IBAN itself. They are separate regulated services with their own provider, terms, rates, costs, limits and eligibility requirements.
