Business accounts

What a Quppy Business account is and is not, who can apply, how onboarding and review work, which currencies and payment rails may be available, and how account identifiers, merchant settlements and corporate crypto fit together.

Can my business receive merchant settlement payouts through Quppy?

Eligible online and offline merchants may be able to use approved Quppy Business account details to receive settlement payouts from acquiring banks, payment service providers, payment facilitators, marketplaces or card-acquiring platforms. The flow requires Quppy/provider approval and acceptance of the account details by the merchant’s settlement provider. Account approval does not guarantee that every acquirer will accept the proposed details.

Does Quppy provide card acquiring?

No. Opening a Quppy Business payment account does not by itself enable a merchant to accept card payments. Card acceptance, authorisation, processing, refunds, disputes, chargebacks and reserves are handled under a separate agreement with an acquiring bank, PSP, payment facilitator or another acquiring provider. Quppy Business may provide approved account details for receiving the resulting settlement payouts.

How can virtual IBANs help with reconciliation?

Virtual IBANs can help a business reconcile incoming payments by assigning a distinct identifier to an approved acquirer, customer, store, website, entity, project or payment flow. When a payment arrives, the identifier can help the business associate it with the correct source. This can reduce manual matching, but it does not replace accounting controls, contracts or transaction evidence.

How does Quppy Business onboarding work?

Quppy Business onboarding is completed online and normally includes a company application, corporate documents, verification of directors and beneficial owners, evidence of business activity and a compliance review. Approved companies receive an individual offer describing the currencies, account details, payment rails, limits, pricing, permitted use, providers and terms available to them. The timeline depends on the company and completeness of the information.

Is Quppy Business a bank account?

No. Quppy is not a bank and does not offer a bank deposit in its own name. “Quppy Business payment account” describes the business functionality available through the Quppy interface. Account details, fund holding or safeguarding and payment execution may be provided by separate regulated institutions named in the customer offer and applicable agreements.

What is a dedicated GB IBAN?

A dedicated GB IBAN is an account identifier assigned for use by a specific approved business customer under the applicable account arrangement. It may be used for eligible commercial payments or settlement flows, depending on the underlying provider, currencies and payment rails. Not every Quppy Business customer receives a dedicated GB IBAN.

What is a virtual IBAN?

A virtual IBAN is an account identifier linked to an underlying account arrangement and used to identify or reconcile incoming payments. It can be assigned to a customer, acquirer, store, website, legal entity, project, country or payment flow. A virtual IBAN does not necessarily constitute a separate bank account, and availability depends on the approved Quppy Business configuration.

What is Quppy Business Crypto Exchange?

Quppy Business Crypto Exchange is a separate corporate service designed for eligible legal entities to exchange supported fiat currencies and digital assets. The intended model connects an approved Quppy Business payment configuration with the applicable crypto-service provider for fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat operations. The assets, networks, currencies, provider, custody or settlement model, fees, limits and jurisdictions available to a company are confirmed during the separate approval process.

What is Quppy Business?

Quppy Business is the business-payment experience developed under the Quppy brand for eligible legal entities. Depending on the company’s approved configuration, it may provide access to EUR, GBP and USD balances, supported payment rails, dedicated or virtual account identifiers and merchant-settlement flows. Quppy provides the connected technology and user experience; the legal entities providing payment or crypto services are identified in the customer offer and applicable agreements.

Which company documents may be requested?

Quppy Business may request corporate records, ownership and director information, identity documents, proof of address, licences and evidence of business activity. The exact list depends on the company’s jurisdiction, entity type, ownership structure, industry, requested services and expected payment flows. Additional documents may be requested during the review.

Who can apply for Quppy Business?

Companies registered inside or outside the European Union may be considered for Quppy Business, subject to supported jurisdictions, business activities, ownership structures and provider requirements. Every application is assessed individually. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or access to any particular currency, rail, account identifier or crypto service.

Why is every Quppy Business application reviewed individually?

Every Quppy Business application is reviewed individually because the legal, ownership, jurisdictional and payment risks of each company are different. The review determines whether the company can be supported and, if approved, which currencies, rails, identifiers, limits, pricing and services can be included. Submission does not guarantee approval.
