Before you send crypto

  • Confirm that the destination wallet supports the asset.
  • Confirm the exact blockchain network supported by the destination.
  • Check that the same network is available in Quppy.
  • Verify whether the destination requires a memo, tag or reference.
  • Confirm who controls the destination wallet or which platform operates it.
  • Review the amount, available balance and any disclosed cost.

Important:

Blockchain transfers normally cannot be cancelled or reversed. A wrong address, unsupported network or missing memo can result in permanent loss.

Step-by-step: send crypto to an external wallet

  1. Open the current crypto transfer flow in Quppy.
  2. Choose the supported crypto-asset you want to send.
  3. Select a network that Quppy shows as available.
  4. Enter or scan the destination wallet address.
  5. Add a memo, tag or reference if the destination requires one and Quppy provides the field.
  6. Provide destination-wallet or service-provider information when requested.
  7. Enter the amount.
  8. Review the asset, network, address, amount, rate or cost information and estimated result.
  9. Complete transaction confirmation and any required 2FA or security check.
  10. Track the transaction status in Quppy and on the relevant blockchain explorer.

Note:

Exact screen names and button labels require confirmation from the current app. The live Quppy flow prevails over this general guide.

How do I check the destination address?

  • Use copy-and-paste or a trusted QR scanner instead of typing manually.
  • Compare the first and last characters after pasting.
  • Check for unexpected clipboard changes.
  • Confirm the address directly with the recipient through a trusted channel.
  • Do not use an address received only through an unsolicited message.
  • Confirm any memo or tag separately.

Important:

Quppy cannot normally determine whether the recipient controls the address or whether the recipient selected the correct network. The user must verify destination details before confirmation.

How do I choose the correct network?

The network selected in Quppy must be supported by the receiving wallet or platform for the same asset. For example, sending USDT on TRON to a destination that only supports USDT on Ethereum can result in loss or an inaccessible balance.

Only networks shown as available in the current Quppy withdrawal flow may be used. Do not assume that a network supported for another asset or region is available for your account.

Can I send USDT?

USDT is not available through Quppy to users under an EEA service configuration, including for external withdrawals.

Outside the EEA, USDT on Ethereum and TRON can be available subject to country, provider and account configuration. USDT on Solana is coming soon outside the EEA only.

Why is USDT unavailable in the EEA?

Why am I being asked about the destination wallet?

Quppy or the applicable provider may request information about whether the destination is a self-hosted wallet, another Quppy user or a third-party crypto platform. The name of a beneficiary or virtual-asset service provider can also be requested.

These questions can support Travel Rule, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, fraud-prevention and security obligations. A transfer may be delayed or rejected if required information is missing or inconsistent.

Note:

The exact data fields and thresholds must be approved by Compliance before publication. This article does not publish internal monitoring rules.

What costs apply?

Before confirmation, Quppy should display the relevant transaction details and any applicable cost. An external blockchain transfer may require a network cost associated with the selected blockchain.

Quppy does not publish a general claim in this article that every crypto transfer is free. Costs can depend on the asset, network, provider and account configuration.

Why is my transfer pending?

  • Security or new-device confirmation is incomplete.
  • Two-factor authentication or transaction confirmation is incomplete.
  • Travel Rule or beneficiary information is required.
  • The transaction is undergoing compliance or fraud review.
  • The selected blockchain is congested.
  • The provider is waiting to broadcast the transaction.
  • An account, asset, network or regional limit applies.
  • Maintenance or an operational incident is affecting the service.

Check the status and any in-app request. If the transfer remains unresolved, contact Quppy Support from the registered account channel.

What if I sent to the wrong address or network?

Stop sending additional funds. Save the transaction hash, asset, network, address, amount and time, and contact Quppy Support and the destination platform or recipient as soon as possible.

Important:

Recovery is not guaranteed and can be impossible. Quppy must not promise cancellation, reversal, recovery timing or recovery without a provider-approved process.
