Do this now
- Do not send another transaction to test the same address or network.
- Save the transaction hash, asset, network, amount, destination address and approximate time.
- Check whether the sending platform shows the transaction as broadcast and confirmed.
- Take screenshots that do not expose passwords, PINs, 2FA codes or sensitive recovery information.
- Contact Quppy Support from your registered account channel.
- If another wallet or platform sent or received the transaction, contact its support team as well.
Why can the wrong network cause a loss?
A blockchain address and token can be handled differently across networks. The receiving service monitors only the assets and networks it supports. If a transfer is sent through a different network, the transaction can be valid on-chain while remaining invisible or inaccessible to the intended receiving service.
For example, USDT on Ethereum, USDT on TRON and USDT on Solana are separate network configurations. Support for one does not imply support for the others.
Important:
A successful blockchain confirmation proves that the network processed the transaction. It does not prove that Quppy or the destination platform supports or can credit that asset/network combination.
Common wrong-network scenarios
An external wallet sends to Quppy on an unsupported network
The funds can arrive at a blockchain address but not be detected or credited by the applicable Quppy provider. Recovery can require technical access that may not exist or may be prohibited by the custody setup.
Quppy sends to a destination that does not support the selected network
The destination platform may receive the on-chain transaction but be unable to credit it to the user. The receiving platform usually controls whether recovery is possible.
The right network but the wrong token
A token contract that is not supported can remain uncredited even when the network itself is supported.
The right asset and network but a missing memo or tag
Some platforms use a shared address and rely on a memo, tag or reference to identify the user. Without it, manual identification may be needed and recovery is not guaranteed.
Can Quppy reverse the transaction?
Normally no. Once a blockchain transaction has been submitted and confirmed, Quppy cannot cancel or rewrite the blockchain record.
A provider may investigate whether technical recovery is possible, but this depends on the asset, network, destination, custody architecture, provider policy and legal or compliance constraints.
Important:
Do not promise recovery, a recovery fee, a recovery time or a minimum amount unless the applicable provider has approved a public recovery policy.
| Field | Visible value |
|---|
| Quppy account | Registered email or approved account identifier |
| Asset | Name and ticker |
| Network | Network used by the sender |
| Transaction hash | Full on-chain transaction identifier |
| Address | Destination address |
| Amount | Exact transferred amount |
| Time | Approximate submission time and timezone |
| Other platform | Name of sender or recipient wallet/exchange |
| Memo/tag | Value used or confirmation that none was entered |
Important:
Support does not need your password, PIN, 2FA code, private key or seed phrase. Do not share those credentials with anyone.
What can Support do?
- Confirm whether the asset and network are supported for the account.
- Check whether the transaction is visible to the applicable provider.
- Request additional technical or compliance information.
- Explain whether the provider can investigate recovery.
- Coordinate with the relevant provider where the service model allows.
- Give current instructions for an existing balance or migration case.
Support cannot guarantee that funds will be recovered. It may also be unable to disclose internal security or compliance details.
How can I prevent a wrong-network transfer?
View supported assets and networks
Are some networks not yet available?
Yes. SOL and USDC on Solana are coming soon. USDT on Solana is coming soon outside the EEA only. Do not send a Solana-network asset until the current Quppy app explicitly shows that combination as available.
USDT is unavailable through Quppy for EEA-configured accounts on every network.
Why is USDT unavailable in the EEA?
What if I sent to the wrong address instead?
A wrong address is a different issue from a wrong network. If the address is valid and controlled by another person, only that controller may be able to return the funds. Quppy cannot normally reverse the transfer.
Contact Quppy Support and the destination platform or recipient immediately with the transaction details. Do not send a second transaction.
