Where is Quppy available?

Quppy is available to eligible users in supported markets worldwide, except sanctioned or otherwise restricted jurisdictions and markets where a service cannot be provided under applicable law or provider requirements. Availability is configured locally: the app, EUR or GBP account features, payment routes, crypto-assets, networks, Business services and future cards can each have a different status in the same country.

What does “available worldwide” mean?

It means Quppy can be offered to eligible users across supported regions, not that every person in every country receives every product.

A user can have access to the Quppy app while one or more regulated services remain:

  • available;
  • limited;
  • coming soon;
  • temporarily paused;
  • unavailable;
  • not applicable.

The current country directory and in-product service status should be treated as the operational source of truth.

What determines availability?

Availability can depend on:

  • verified country of residence;
  • onboarding country;
  • nationality where legally relevant;
  • customer type: Personal or Business;
  • service provider assigned to the account;
  • product and legal-entity terms;
  • sanctions and restricted-jurisdiction rules;
  • payment-rail participation;
  • currency, crypto-asset and blockchain network;
  • card issuer or scheme availability;
  • business industry and ownership structure;
  • age, verification and other eligibility requirements;
  • temporary operational or provider status.

Using a VPN or app-store region does not change verified eligibility.

Can different services have different country coverage?

Yes.

Examples:

  • the Quppy app can be downloadable while the multicurrency IBAN is unavailable;
  • EUR transfers can be supported while incoming GBP is unavailable;
  • BTC or USDC can be supported while USDT is unavailable in the EEA;
  • crypto custody can be available while a particular exchange pair is not;
  • Personal can be available while Business applications are not accepted;
  • a Coming soon card may not yet have an issuer for the country.

Do not infer one service’s availability from another.

How is the EEA defined?

The European Economic Area consists of:

  • the 27 European Union Member States;
  • Iceland;
  • Liechtenstein;
  • Norway.

Switzerland is not part of the EEA.

EEA status matters for some crypto-service configurations, including the current Quppy restriction on USDT.

Which Personal features are currently relevant?

The approved Personal product model includes:

  • EUR and GBP multicurrency IBAN functionality where eligible;
  • SEPA Standard and SEPA Instant for EUR where enabled;
  • Faster Payments and CHAPS for GBP operations where enabled;
  • no Quppy transfer fee for currently supported EUR and GBP fiat transfers;
  • incoming GBP transfers not currently available;
  • bank-card funding and withdrawals to bank cards not currently available;
  • separate crypto services subject to provider and country configuration.

Local European IBANs, local payment methods, USD support and Quppy cards are Coming soon and must not be shown as live.

Which crypto availability rules are important?

Current global crypto support is service- and country-dependent.

Approved high-level facts:

  • BTC on Bitcoin — available where supported;
  • ETH and USDC on Ethereum — available where supported;
  • TRX on TRON — available where supported;
  • USDT on Ethereum and TRON — outside the EEA only, subject to country/provider configuration;
  • USDT — unavailable through Quppy in the EEA;
  • SOL, USDC on Solana and USDT on Solana outside the EEA — Coming soon.

Always check the asset and network shown for the account before sending crypto.

Can availability change after registration?

Yes. A service can change because of:

  • legal or regulatory changes;
  • sanctions;
  • provider onboarding or withdrawal;
  • payment-rail or issuer changes;
  • product rollout;
  • operational incident or maintenance;
  • customer eligibility or account review;
  • updated asset or network support.

Where possible, Quppy should show the effective date, reason category, user action and current alternative. Applicable terms prevail.

How do I check my country?

  1. Open the Quppy availability directory.
  2. Select your verified country of residence.
  3. Choose Personal or Business.
  4. Review each service separately.
  5. Check provider, currency or asset, network or payment rail, direction and status.
  6. Review the Last reviewed date.
  7. Confirm the current status again in Quppy before acting.

Check availability for your country

Why can Support give a different answer from an old webpage?

Product availability changes. A legacy or cached page can contain older information. The website, Help Center, app and provider terms must be kept consistent, but the current account configuration and latest approved service notice prevail.

This article explains the current Quppy product and compliance configuration. The applicable Quppy and service-provider terms, country eligibility rules, privacy notices and information shown in the app prevail if they differ from this article.

Availability and eligibility

Why do Quppy services differ by country?

Quppy services differ by country because the underlying fiat, payment, crypto and future card services can be provided by different legal entities under different regulatory permissions, payment-rail rules, asset restrictions and commercial configurations. Product rollout and individual eligibility also vary. As a result, two users can use the same Quppy app but see different currencies, account details, payment directions, crypto-assets, networks, limits or providers.

Availability by region

How do I check which Quppy services are available in my country?

Use the Quppy availability directory, select your verified country of residence and customer type, and review each service separately. Check the provider, currency or crypto-asset, blockchain network or payment rail, incoming or outgoing direction, current status, limitations and Last reviewed date. Then confirm the same status in the Quppy app before opening an account, sending a payment or transferring crypto.

Availability and eligibility

What do Quppy service-availability statuses mean?

Quppy uses service statuses to distinguish what can be used now from what is restricted, planned, paused or unavailable. “Available” means the service is live for eligible users under the stated conditions; it does not guarantee approval. “Limited” means only part of the service is available. “Coming soon” is a roadmap status, not a launch promise. “Temporarily paused”, “Unavailable” and “Not applicable” each have different operational meanings.

Availability by region

Why is USDT unavailable through Quppy in the EEA?

USDT is not available through Quppy to users whose crypto services are provided under the European Economic Area regulatory framework. Quppy’s EEA crypto-service provider, Payhound Limited, excludes USDT from its EU/EEA service catalogue as part of its MiCA-compliant stablecoin policy. This is a Quppy service-availability restriction. It does not mean that simply owning USDT is generally illegal throughout the EEA.
